Prior to becoming a consultant, Donna was Customer Service Manager for Western Canada for an international communications corporation, responsible for customer service and sales in several branch locations. Prior to that, she was a Corporate Trainer and member of the Management Information Systems conversion team for Western Canada and the US.

Donna began her professional consulting career in 1992. Her areas of interest and expertise include recruitment, organizational and human resource development, and career transition. She has worked extensively with clients in all levels of government, the private sector and not-for-profit organizations throughout the province.

Donna works in partnership with clients to assist them in identifying both challenges and opportunities and she recommends concrete, practical actions to address these challenges and opportunities. Donna has an approachable style that balances analytical and implementation skills. When recruiting personnel, Donna works with clients to define the competencies they are seeking. She is an adept interviewer and is able to assess candidates’ suitability for given positions.

As a facilitator, Donna’s areas of focus are leadership development and human resources best practices.

Donna is a Registered Professional Recruiter and member of the BC Human Resource Management Association, the BC Council of Administrative Tribunals and the BC College of Teachers. She has served on several boards and commissions including the Canadian Council of Human Resource Associations and the Northwest Human Resource Management Association.
