Karen is a member of the Calgary Association of Professional coaches and the International Coach Federation. She received her coaching credentials from Erickson College International, Vancouver, British Columbia.
She works with individuals and groups in the following areas:

Karen graduated from Alberta Bible College's BA program in Leadership and Ministry, and from Trinity Western University's Graduate diploma program in Leadership and Christian Studies.
Before becoming a professional business coach, Karen worked in the non-profit sector, where she specialized in volunteer development for The Seed, an organization that mobilizes thousands of volunteers annually to meet the needs of Calgary's homeless population. She also assisted in the development of their staff and volunteer training programs, and wrote internal publications to facilitate management of volunteers.
She and her husband have five adult children. She has volunteered extensively throughout the world, including a three-month stint as a Primary Health Care practioner in Uganda.
Karen likes to bike, hike and generally be outdoors. She has a passion for wooden boats and being near the water.
