Our client is seeking extraordinary individuals to join their Custom Application Software Services division. The company is based on a partnership model.

The Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate provides custom business software development services in the Microsoft and Linux domains. They have been servicing organizations in the capacity of their clients’ outsourced development team. The candidate would like to provide better project, proactive, support, and overall value to their client base while ensuring his or her own quality of life. The candidate is unable to provide the better service due to the lack of resources and personnel coverage within their own company.

The ideal candidate has the following characteristics:

• High customer retention and satisfaction


• Receiving over 7 hours, or equivalent, per day of billable work from existing clients


• Full long-term client-load, leaning to overloaded work days over the course of a year


• Performs work locally (no move) from CRD, and performs local CRD client work


• One person company that no longer wants to have to do everything


• Been doing work in this way for their clients for five, or more, years


• Have ten, or more, years of industry experience


• Wants to keep doing this work until retirement, while meeting their clients’ ongoing needs


• Are willing to let go of their one-person business, and transfer their clients under their management to the business (clients remain the candidates if the candidate leaves).


• Wants to remain self-managed, but have the resources of a larger company suited to them


• Wants to work for the premiere long-term, customer focused Business & IT Services company on Vancouver Island

• 24x7 two person staffed helpdesk


• invoicing, admin parts of quoting, supplier relationships, channel mgmt, marketing, large sale management, BIDs, large project management, legal, HR, general admin, accounting, etc


• Technical/work backup for this person so that they are able to go on vacation/sick leave
