Career transition, whether re-employment, re-definition or retirement, may surface difficulties or crises in relationships, dissatisfaction with life, grief, depression and anger, which may even be evidenced in self-harmful behaviour (e.g. alcohol abuse, self-isolation).

Throughout the Career Transition program, Walmsley and Associates provides counselling services as appropriate to the individual career transition client. We share private meeting and office facilities. Some clients do not need any Personal Counselling, others find they benefit from some supportive personal issues counsel, and others may require more in-depth counselling to help them deal with more complex or profound social, psychological or health related matters. Professional, masters level counsellors are available to meet with the candidate to address any emotional, psychological or social issues that may be preventing the individual from moving towards a positive career transition.
