Work Permits in Canada: Navigating the Minefield

An Information Session with Jim Turner

ABOUT THE SEMINAR

Canadian employers compete internationally for the best talent. It is very helpful for an employer to know whether a candidate is able to get a work permit, and how difficult it will be. The administrative framework in this area is a sea of policies, regulations and practices, where the exceptions outnumber the rules.

This seminar is intended to give an overview of the main categories and key concepts behind Immigration Canada's work permit regime, bring some sense of order to the confusion and address specific issues seminar attendees bring forward.

Please Note: This seminar is intended for employers interested in hiring foreign workers and is not open to the general public
